There are several hotels in town for different likes and budgets, we offer a preferential rate for Reserva Mikil guests in three of them, ranging from 50 to $100USD per night.

Yucatan is big in birdwatching, easily enjoyed on the property and about an hour away from the Ria Lagartos bio reserve.

The cenote is there to rappell, dive or just take a refreshing dip.

For beach days, shopping and restaurants: an hour drive North to San Felipe (excellent, inexpensive, fresh sea food!) on the Gulf of Mexico; or an hour drive to Tulum, on the Caribbean side; or under two hours East, to Cancun or under two hours West, to Merida.

For days of culture you can take a drive to colonial Valladolid or Izamal; or stay overnight in Merida and take the convents route.

Yucatan is the heart of the Maya land: archaeology and anthropology are everywhere you turn. Close by, you can get to Ek Balam, Chichen Itza, Coba, Tulm and many others.
